Further to the announcement made on 31 May 2006 concerning the appointment of
David Williams as a non-executive director effective today, Tullow Oil plc makes
the following regulatory disclosures in accordance with Rule 9.6.13 of the
Listing Rules of the UKLA and 6.6.13 of the Listing Rules of the Irish Stock
Exchange.:



Mr Williams has held the following directorships of publicly quoted companies
within the past five years



1.         George Wimpey plc

2.         The Peninsular and Oriental Steam Navigation Company plc (resigned

7 March 2006)

3.         Bunzl plc (resigned 31 January 2006)

4.         Dewhirst Group plc (resigned 24 August 2001)



In relation to UKLA Listing Rule 9.6.13 (2) - (6) and Irish Stock Exchange
Listing Rule 6.6.13 (2) - (6), Mr Williams has nothing to declare except under
sub section (3): Mr Williams was a director of John Dawson Motor Holdings
Limited until his resignation on 28 March 1980. John Dawson Motor Holdings
Limited was wound up in the second half of 1980; the amount involved is believed
to be about £1m.
