TYMAN PLC
("Tyman" or the "Group")
Directorate Change
Tyman announces that Jo Hallas has decided to step down as Chief Executive Officer and Director of Tyman with effect from today, by mutual agreement with the Board. The Group's Chief Financial Officer, Jason Ashton, will act as interim Chief Executive Officer with effect from today and will continue to carry out Tyman's strategic vision to deliver shareholder value until a permanent Chief Executive Officer is appointed. Tyman's strong devolved divisional structure, led by experienced management teams, will ensure continued focus on delivering its financial targets and strategic priorities.
The process of recruiting Jo's successor will be led by the Nominations Committee. Jo will remain available to the Group over the next 12 months, as required, to ensure an orderly handover.
Nicky Hartery, Chair of Tyman, said: "Jo has done a tremendous job over the last four years. The Board and I would like to thank Jo for her significant contributions including establishing and driving the Group's strategy with sustainability at its core, leading our recovery in North America, and seeing the Group through the pandemic and resulting global supply chain challenges. Having established these strong foundations, it has been mutually agreed that now is the right time to step down and allow her successor to lead the next stage of Tyman's development. We wish her well for the future. "
Consistent with the Group's 2022 final results announcement published on 2 March 2023, trading continues to be in line with the Board's expectations. The Group will publish a trading update with its Annual General Meeting on 18 May 2023.
