New Chair succession confirmed
Tyman plc ("Tyman" or the "Group") is pleased to announce that Nicky Hartery will succeed Martin Towers as Chair of Tyman plc on 1 December 2020. Nicky will join the Board as Non-Executive Director on 1 October 2020. Nicky will also become Chair of the Nominations Committee and be a member of the Remuneration Committee. Martin will retire from the Board on 30 November 2020.
From 2012 to 2019, Nicky was Chairman of CRH plc, a global building materials FTSE 100 company. Nicky is currently Chair of Musgrave Group, a Non-Executive Director of Finning International and Chairman of Horse Racing Ireland. Nicky spent his executive career at General Electric, Verbatim/Eastman Kodak and Dell Inc., including being based in the United States for ten years.
Commenting on the appointment, Paul Withers, Senior Independent Director, said: "I am excited to welcome Nicky to the Board of Tyman plc. Nicky brings a wealth of corporate and commercial expertise to the Board, as well as his very relevant sector and international experience.
