Lupus Capital plc Change of Name

Lupus Capital plc becomes Tyman plc

The Board of Lupus Capital plc (the "Company" or the "Group") announces that, with effect from Friday 1 February 2013, Lupus Capital plc will be renamed Tyman plc. 

As indicated in the 2011 Annual Report to shareholders, the Board has decided to change the Group's name and branding to reflect the re-focusing of the Group as an International building products business, supplying components to the door and window industry worldwide.  A resolution was approved at the 2012 Annual General Meeting to permit the Group to change its name by way of a Board resolution and the Board believes that now is the appropriate time to complete this change.

The name "Lupus Capital" has not clearly represented the operations of the Group in that it implies the Group is a financial institution, rather than a building products manufacturing business.  This has promoted some confusion among the Group's customers and suppliers, as well as with potential investors. 

Tyman is derived from the Old English word for "to turn" and is felt to be a simple, solid and more relevant expression of the Group's activities and products.  The new identity is also expected to engender a cohesive company culture.

With effect from Monday 4 February 2013, the Group's London Stock Exchange Tradable Instrument Display Mnemonic ("TIDM") will change from LUP.L to TYMN.L.  Tyman plc shares will continue to be traded on the AiM market of the London Stock Exchange. 

Shareholdings are unaffected by the name change and existing share certificates should be retained, as they will remain valid for all purposes.  Any new share certificates issued after February 2013 will bear the name Tyman plc.

With effect from Friday 1 February 2013, the Group's website address will be www.tymanplc.com.

To mark the end of the Group's association with the word Lupus, Tyman plc will make a donation to Lupus UK (www.lupusuk.org.uk), a registered charity dedicated to the support of people with Lupus (the immune system illness).

Tyman plc will announce its results for the year ended 31 December 2012 on Tuesday 12 March 2013.
