PURCHASE OF UTILICO FINANCE LIMITED 2012 ZDP SHARES

The Board of Utilico Investments Limited ("the Company") announces that on 29 August 2012 the Company purchased 40,000 Utilico Finance Limited 2012 ZDPs shares in the market at a price of 176.0p per share.

The Company now owns 1,226,748 Utilico Finance Limited 2012 ZDPs shares and these shares will be held to the redemption date on 31 October 2012.
