SALE OF 2020 ZDPs

UIL Limited (the "Company") announces that on 23 September 2016 the Company sold in the market 50,000 2020 ZDP Shares issued by its subsidiary, UIL Finance Limited, at a price of 133p per 2020 ZDP Share. Following this purchase UIL Limited has a holding of 2,925,815 2020 ZDP Shares and the total number of 2020 ZDP Shares in issue remains unchanged at 39,000,000.
