SALE OF 2020 ZDPs

UIL Limited (the "Company") announces that on 30 September 2016 the Company sold in the market 367,460 2020 ZDP Shares issued by its subsidiary, UIL Finance Limited, at a price of 133.237p per 2020 ZDP Share. Following this purchase UIL Limited has a holding of 2,558,355 2020 ZDP Shares and the total number of 2020 ZDP Shares in issue remains unchanged at 39,000,000.
