RESULTS OF EXTRAORDINARY GENERAL MEETING

 

UK Commercial Property Trust Limited (the "Company") announces that the ordinary resolution (to approve the proposed issue of new ordinary shares in the capital of the Company to Phoenix & London Assurance Limited) considered at the Extraordinary General Meeting (the "EGM") held today was duly passed.  Proxy votes received in relation to the ordinary resolution were 90,005,977 for, 0 against, 374,692 withheld and 33,600 discretionary.

Application has been made for 195 million new ordinary shares of 25p each in the capital of the Company to be issued pursuant to the placing and offer announced on 15 January 2010 to be admitted to the Official List and to trading on the main market of the London Stock Exchange, and dealings in such shares are expected to commence at 8.00 a.m. tomorrow.

A print of the resolution passed at the EGM has been forwarded to and will shortly be available for inspection at the FSA's Document Viewing Facility, which is situated at:
