AGM Statement


At this morning's Annual General Meeting of Sarantel Group PLC (AIM: SLG), Geoff
Shingles, Chairman, will make the following statement:


'The Board is pleased to report a satisfactory performance in the financial year
to date. Sarantel has received encouraging feedback from manufacturers who are
beginning to appreciate the benefits of designing our antennas into new consumer
products.


'One such device, HP's iPAQ Travel Companion, has sold well since its launch
last Autumn. More recently, the Bushnell Onix 400 Weather Tracker became the
first product to contain two separate Sarantel antennas - one for satellite
radio and one for GPS - proving the versatility of our designs.


'The Board is confident that Sarantel's technology is becoming increasingly
relevant for consumers who demand greater performance and functionality from
handheld devices.'
