Further to the Company's announcement on 9 February 2006, confirming that at the
Annual General Meeting held on that day shareholders had approved the change of
the Company's name to 'ELECTRA PRIVATE EQUITY PLC', the Company announces that
the Registrar of Companies has today issued the certificate of incorporation on
change of name and accordingly the name of the Company has been changed to 
'ELECTRA PRIVATE EQUITY PLC' with effect from 10 February 2006.
