Purchase of shares for cancellation

Unicorn AIM VCT plc announces that on 30 September 2004 it purchased 10,225
Series 2 Ordinary Shares at a price of 90 pence per share for cancellation.

Following this purchase there are now 34,769,234 Ordinary Shares of 1 pence and
15,753,089 Series 2 Ordinary Shares in issue.
