Purchase of shares for cancellation

Unicorn AIM VCT plc announces that on 30 September 2005 it purchased 60,000
Ordinary Fund Shares at a price of 98 pence per share and 20,000 Series 2 Fund
Shares at a price of 101 pence per share for cancellation.

Following these purchases there are now 33,344,234 Ordinary Shares of 1 pence
and 15,743,314 Series 2 Ordinary Shares in issue.
