At the Annual General Meeting of Unilever PLC on 3 May 2000, the following
persons were elected as directors:


Mr Keki Bomi Dadiseth has been appointed a director and a member of Executive
Committee.  This is an executive appointment and is effective from 3 May 2000.

Mr Andre Rene van Heemstra has been appointed Personnel Director and a member
of Executive Committee.  This is an executive appointment and is effective
from 3 May 2000.

Mr Charles Bernhard Strauss has been appointed a director and Chairman of the
North America Committee.  This is an executive appointment and is effective
from 3 May 2000.
