UNILEVER ANNOUNCES EUROBOND ISSUE

Unilever PLC announced today that it has issued Euro 500,000,000 EONIA-Indexed
Notes due 2002 guaranteed by Unilever N.V. and £100,000,000 SONIA-Indexed
Notes due 2001 guaranteed by Unilever N.V. under its debt issuance programme. 
The Eurobond Issues had been launched on 29 November.

Issue Price:                   99.981% of the aggregate principal amount of
