Please note that in our earlier announcement entitled 'Share Capital
Consolidation Update' the figure quoted as the number of shares comprising the
issued share capital was in fact the authorised share capital. The number of
shares comprising the issued share capital of Unilever plc is 1,310,156,361
rather than the figure of 4,377,075,492.
