                        UNITE Group plc ('the Company')

Application has been made to the Financial Services Authority and the London
Stock Exchange plc for 1,452 ordinary shares of 25p each ('shares') to be
admitted to the Official List.



It is expected admission will be granted on 07 October 2003 and trading will
commence on 08 October 2003.



These shares are being issued as a result of the exercise of share options under
The UNITE Group plc Savings Related Share Option Scheme.



These shares now rank pari passu with the existing issued ordinary shares.
