Additional Listing - Amend

The issuer advises that the following replaces the 'Additional Listing'
announcement released today, 19 January 2004, at 14:04, under RNS number 3846U.


The additional listing should refer 'the exercise of Unapproved Share Options
and options under the, The Unite Group Savings-Related Share Option Scheme' and
not as previously stated. All other details remain unchanged. The full amended

Application has been made to the Financial Services Authority and the London
Stock Exchange plc for 51,619 ordinary shares of 25p each ('shares') to be
admitted to the Official List.


It is expected admission will be granted on 21 January 2004 and trading will
commence on 22 January 2004.


These shares are being issued as a result of the exercise of Unapproved Share
Options and share options under the, The Unite Group Savings-Related Share
Option Scheme.


These shares now rank pari passu with the existing issued ordinary shares.
