It is with great sadness that the Board of United Overseas Group plc ('UOG')
announces the death of Mr Eppe Boersema, a main Board Director and Joint
Managing Director of its Dutch operations, Intertrading Agencies.
Following an announcement on 3 March that Mr Boersema had been seriously
injured in a road traffic accident, he died of his injuries on Sunday 16 April
2000.
Mr Bert Boersema, Joint Managing Director of Intertrading Agencies, who
assumed full management responsibility for the Group's Dutch operations
following the accident will continue in this role.
