Extension to MTR Maintenance Contract
UniVision, the AIM listed Hong Kong based designer and installer of digital
surveillance and integrated security systems, is pleased to announce an
extension to its current maintenance contract with Hong Kong's metro operator,
the MTR Corporation.
UniVision will continue to provide maintenance support for the MTR's CCTV
systems, passenger information display and the public address systems. The
contract is for a period of three years and is expected to contribute £1.5
million in revenues over that period. The contract is open to further three year
extension.
The MTR transports 2.5 million passengers on a normal weekday and is a key part
of Hong Kong's public transport network.

About MTR Corporation
Established in 1975, the MTR currently operates a railway network of 91.0
kilometres, which includes over 120.6 km of tunnels (some route sections have
several tunnels). With 53 stations and carrying an average of 2.5 million
passengers on a weekday, the MTR has been confirmed by recent benchmarking
studies as one of the world's finest railways for safety, reliability, customer
service and cost efficiency.
It provides 19 hours of passenger service daily from 6 am to 1 am, and during
the morning peak hours, an 8-car train with a capacity for 2,500 passengers will
