Zebediela Licence Renewal Granted
URU is pleased to announce that further to the announcement of 29 November 2018, the Company has been informed by the South African Department of Mineral Resources ("DMR") that it has formally approved and executed the renewal of prospecting right 148PR (the "Right") on 3 December 2018, which forms the primary prospecting right over all known mineralisation of the Zebediela Nickel project for an additional three years. The Right will expire on 2 December 2021.
Additionally, as previously announced, the application in terms of Section 102 of the Mineral and Petroleum Resources Development Act of 2002 (the MPRDA) has been made, and acknowledged by the DMR, to append licences 1074PR and 11921PR to 148PR. As previously noted, this application will now be processed as the execution of the renewal of the Right has occurred. A further announcement will be made regarding the appending of the licenses in due course.
