APPOINTMENT OF A DIRECTOR

Utilico Emerging Markets Limited ("UEM" or "the Company") is pleased to announce that John Rennocks has been appointed as an independent Non-Executive Director of the Company with effect from 16 November 2015.

Mr Rennocks has recently retired as deputy chairman and senior independent director of Inmarsat plc. He has broad experience in conventional and renewable electricity generation and in biotechology, support services and manufacturing, having previously served as finance director of a number of public limited companies (including Smith and Nephew plc, PowerGen plc, British Steel plc and Corus Group plc) and as a non-executive chairman or director of several companies, including Foreign & Colonial Investment Trust plc and JP Morgan Overseas Investment Trust plc. He is currently Chairman of Bluefield Solar Income Fund Ltd and a non-executive director of Greenko Group plc. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales.
