TRANSACTION IN OWN SHARES

The Board of Utilico Emerging Markets Limited ("the Company") announces that on 12 February 2016 the Company purchased for cancellation 100,000 ordinary shares of 10p each at a price of 161.75p per share.

Therefore the total number of ordinary shares with voting rights in issue in the Company is now 211,619,882.

The above figure (211,619,882) may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the FCA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
