TRANSACTION IN OWN SHARES

The Board of Utilico Emerging Markets Limited ("the Company") announces that on 8 January 2016 the Company purchased for cancellation 250,000 ordinary shares of 10p each at a price of 163.75p per share.

Therefore the total number of ordinary shares with voting rights in issue in the Company is now 212,878,793.

The above figure (212,878,793) may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
