Transaction in Own Shares

Utilico Emerging Markets Limited ("the "Company") announces that it purchased for cancellation 800,000 ordinary shares on 15 March 2010 at a price of 131p per share. 

Following this purchase the Company's issued share capital consists of 212,812,819 ordinary shares with voting rights.

The above figure (212,812,819) may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interests in, the Company under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
