Alternative Investment Fund Managers Directive ("AIFMD")

The Board of Value and Income Trust plc ("the Company") is pleased to announce that it has entered into arrangements necessary to ensure compliance with the AIFMD.

The Company has appointed its subsidiary Value and Income Services ("VIS") as its Alternative Investment Fund Manager ("AIFM").  VIS is authorised and regulated by the FCA as a full-scope UK AIFM.

The Company has appointed BNP Paribas Securities Services as its Depositary and Custodian.
