The Company announces that Angela Lascelles has been appointed a Director of VIT
with effect from today, 6 March 2008.


In accordance with paragraph 9.6.13R (1) of the FSA's Listing Rules, Angela
Lascelles has confirmed that she is not a director of any other publicly quoted
company and in addition, that she has been a director of Audax Properties PLC
and Value and Income Trust PLC within the last five years.

In accordance with paragraph 9.6.13R (2)-(6) of the FSA's Listing Rules there
are no disclosures to be made.
