Analyst and investor investment initiatives briefing
Provident Financial is today hosting a visit for analysts and institutional
investors. The event will focus on Provident's recently launched Vanquis Bank
credit card operation and roll-out of home-credit in Mexico.
Updated data for the number of cards in issue and net receivables as at the end
of May for Vanquis Bank will be provided. Customer numbers as at the end of May
and credit issued for the five months to May 2005 for Provident Mexico will also
be provided. These, together with the comparative data as at December 2004
which was provided at the time of the Preliminary Results in March, are
summarised in the table below.
No other new information relating to current trading will be provided.
