independent non-executive director with effect from 1 February 2007.


Having previously been executive deputy chairman of Peel Holdings p.l.c. from
1989 until 2002, he is currently non-executive deputy chairman of Peel Holdings
(Management) Limited, chairman of Peel Airports Limited, non-executive chairman
of Cheshire Building Society and a non-executive director of Alfred McAlpine plc
and Styles & Wood Group plc.
