African Consolidated Resources PLC ("AFCR" or the "Company"), the AIM listed resources and development company announces that on 11 April 2014, Stuart Bottomley, non-executive director of the Company, purchased through his pension fund 398,832 ordinary shares of 1p each in the Company at 1.19p per share.

The Company was notified of the above transaction on 11 April 2014.

The resultant holding of Stuart Bottomley (including pension fund) following the above transaction is 8,424,832 ordinary shares in the Company, representing 0.99% of the Company's issued share capital.  This holding does not include his interest over shares held through contracts with the Company's Employee Benefit Trust.
