African Consolidated Resources PLC ("AFCR" or the "Company"), the AIM listed resources and development company, announces that Lloyd Manokore has today resigned as the Company's Non-Executive Vice Chairman and as a director of its subsidiary company to enable him to pursue other business interests.

Neville Nicolau, Non-Executive Director, will assume Lloyd's responsibilities as a member of the Audit Committee.

The Board will be seeking to replace Lloyd with another Zimbabwean in view of the Company's substantial interests in that country.

Commenting on the announcement Roy Tucker, Executive Chairman, said "On behalf of the Board, I would like to thank Lloyd for his contribution to the Board and thank Lloyd for all his work and contribution to the Company since 2011. We wish him well in his future endeavours."
