African Consolidated Resources plc, the AIM listed resource and development company announces that on 18 October 2013, certain directors of the Company purchased ordinary shares in the Company ('Shares') at 2.5p per Share as follows:

Stuart Bottomley (through his pension fund)     400,000
Neville Nicolau                                                     400,000
Roy Tucker (through his pension fund)              200,000

The resultant holding of the directors (including pension funds) following these transactions is as follows.
