Result of Annual General Meeting

African Consolidated Resources plc, the AIM listed resource and development company, announces the results of its Annual General Meeting held on 30 September 2013 (the "AGM").

All resolutions put to shareholders at the AGM were duly passed on a poll, with the following exceptions:

Ordinary Resolution 6:   to change the name of the Company to Allegro Minerals plc
Ordinary Resolution 7:   to authorise the Directors to allot relevant securities
Special Resolution 8:   to authorise the Directors to allot relevant securities on a non pre-emptive basis

Shareholders have consequently decided not to change the name of the Company at the present time. The Board are reconsidering its options regarding the authorities to allot relevant securities and will update shareholders in the near future.
