VELTI ANNOUNCES DATE OF aim delisting
Dublin, Ireland and San Francisco, CA -March 18, 2011- Velti plc (Nasdaq: VELT; AIM: VEL), the leading mobile marketing and advertising technology provider for brands, advertising agencies, mobile operators and media, announces, pursuant to AIM Rule 41, that its shares will cease to be admitted to trading on AIM, effective May 3, 2011.
The cancellation will take effect at 7:00 a.m. on May 3, 2011. Accordingly, trading of the Company's ordinary shares on AIM will cease following close of trading on April 28, 2011.
Shareholders of the Company previously approved the AIM delisting at the Company's extraordinary general meeting held on July 30, 2010, to be effective approximately 90 days following the Company's January 28, 2011 public offering in the United States.
All shareholders of the Company will be able to continue to trade Velti ordinary shares on the NASDAQ Global Select Market following the cancellation date. Shareholders may trade their Velti ordinary shares on the NASDAQ Global Select Market before this date if they so choose.
