NEW PRODUCT LAUNCH AND SUCCESSFUL TRIALS WITH KEY CUSTOMERS
Velti announces today the launch of version 3.5 of its Mobile Marketing Platform
('MMP') used for planning, creating, managing and monitoring mobile marketing
and advertising campaigns.
The new version of the MMP is already being used for managing the mobile
campaigns of one existing and three new customers:
Real Networks, a world leader in digital media services (Rapsody) and software
(RealPlayer) is using Velti's platform to support mobile campaigns and
promotions for multiple brands through loyalty points that can be redeemed for
mobile content and services.
PepsiCo Inc.'s Tasty Foods, is currently running a promotional campaign for its
Lays brand, which aims to promote brand awareness and its sponsorship of
Ronaldinho, the Barcelona mid-fielder. Its 'Play Ball!' campaign is being
promoted on approximately 15 million potato chip packets, in which participants
take part by sending a text message.
LVMH's Hennessy, a world leading cognac brand has created mobile community and
alerts through Velti's platform around it's 'Art of Mixing' campaign to support
independent musicians and to promote its brand.
Q-Telecom, an existing customer, is running its mobile marketing campaign
through Velti which has designed and developed its 'Vroom' mobile promotions to
promote the company's brand name, increase revenues, differentiate from the
competition and reinforce the brand's image.
Incorporating more than 60 built-in campaign templates that model above and
below the line activities, Velti's MMP enables the design and launch of
campaigns in hours rather than weeks, with significant cost savings. It includes
advanced proprietary technology, powerful reporting tools and performance
indicators, for use by major mobile operators, advertising agencies, enterprises
and brand owners. It enables the rapid and cost effective creation of
permission-based ('opt in'), multi-level mobile marketing campaigns including
full cycle campaign planning, execution and monitoring across mobile marketing,
advertising and content delivery activities. The new platform includes
additional mobile marketing activities such as location aware and proximity
solutions, retail couponing, inventory and traffic alerts, user generated
content applications and virtual world to mobile interaction.
Alexandros Moukas, Chief Executive Officer said:
'We are launching the new version of our Mobile Marketing Platform at a time
when mobile marketing expenditure is expected to grow rapidly in both Europe and
North America. Our new MMP has been designed specifically for use by advertisers
and marketing people and will make it significantly easier, quicker and more
cost effective to run mobile marketing campaigns across a range of mobile phone
service providers.'
