Extension of DIT Secondment
Versarien plc (AIM: VRS), the advanced materials engineering group, is pleased to announce that Matt Walker, who has been on secondment to the Company since May 2018 from the UK Government's Department for International Trade ("DIT"), has had his secondment extended for a further year to May 2020.
The DTI have agreed that given Matt's contribution to Versarien's overseas investment ambitions, in particular in China and South Korea, existing collaborations and overall furtherment of Versarien's international business it is appropriate that his secondment is extended.
