 COOKSON ACQUIRES PLASKON ELECTRONIC MATERIALS
 
Cookson Group plc ('Cookson'), the international materials
technology group, announces that it has now completed the
acquisition of the Plaskon Electronic Materials business of
BP Amoco for a cash consideration of US$121 million (£77
million), the terms of which were previously announced on 15
July 1999.
