COOKSON GROUP PLC - PROPOSED DEMERGER

ANALYST AND INVESTOR PRESENTATIONS - CHANGE OF DATE

In the Proposed Demerger announcement on 1 November 2012, it was announced that presentations for analysts and investors would be made by the senior management teams of Vesuvius plc and Alent plc on 27 November.  Due to a potential clash with another company's Capital Markets event the date of the Vesuvius presentation has been changed as follows:

Vesuvius plc

The presentation will now take place at the offices of BofA Merrill Lynch, 2 King Edward Street, London EC1A 1HQ on 29 November at 10am. 

Alent plc

The presentation will take place at the offices of BofA Merrill Lynch, 2 King Edward Street, London EC1A 1HQ on 27 November at 2pm, as originally announced.
