Vesuvius plc announces that Holly Koeppel, an independent non-executive director of Vesuvius plc and member of its Audit, Nomination and Remuneration Committees, has been appointed as a Director of Arch Coal, Inc., the US coal producer, effective from 1 March 2019.

This notification is made in accordance with paragraph 9.6.14R of the Listing Rules.
