Disposal of Poly-Flex Completed

              COOKSON SELLS POLY-FLEX BUSINESS
 
Cookson Group plc ('Cookson'), the international materials
technology group, announces that it has now completed the
sale of its Poly-Flex business to Parlex Corporation
(NASDAQ: PRLX) for a cash consideration of US$19.6 million
(£12.5 million), terms of which were previously announced on
25 January.
