                             Annual General Meeting

At the Annual General Meeting held today (26 July 2005), Bob Gilbert, Chairman
told shareholders:

'As anticipated, market conditions remain very difficult. However, as we
indicated in my Chairman's Statement accompanying the 2005 Annual Report &
Accounts, we believe that the Group is able to deliver profitable growth through
a continuing concentration on customer service and acceleration in the
introduction of our new product ranges, despite an economic outlook that at best
is flat in all our markets.

'Shareholders will be further updated on our progress at the time of our interim
results which will be announced on 23 November 2005.'
