The Company was notified today that under the terms of The Victoria Carpets
Profit Sharing Scheme (the 'Scheme'), 2,500 ordinary shares of 25p each
('ordinary shares') held in trust for the benefit of employees, have been
transferred outside the Trust for nil consideration to the personal
representative of a deceased employee. The Scheme is an Inland Revenue approved
profit share scheme.
Following the transfer, the Trustees hold on behalf of the Scheme, 357,591
ordinary shares representing approximately 5.15 per cent of the Company's issued
ordinary shares.
As trustees of the Scheme, the following Directors' non-beneficial shareholdings
have each been reduced by 2,500 ordinary shares and are now as follows:
