                   Alexander Anton takes up Chair at Victoria

The Company confirms the appointment of Alexander Anton as Chairman of Victoria
PLC as from today, (3 December 2007). Alexander previously acted as both
non-executive director and chairman of the UK business before joining the PLC
Board in 1995.

Commenting on his appointment Alexander said:

'I am proud to have been asked to lead the Group through its next phase of
growth and I am looking forward to the challenge and opportunities that my new
role will provide.

'I am confident that Victoria can gain further leverage from its strong
reputation in the marketplace and it will benefit greatly from the additional
skills and perspective that the two new Non Executive Directors Aram Shishmanian
and Nikki Beckett will also bring to the business.

'As a Board, we are currently reviewing the Group's strategy for the future
development of the business, both from a commercial and shareholder perspective.

'I look forward to updating all shareholders in the first half of 2008 and to
discussing how we will build on the strength that Victoria already enjoys.'

No further details regarding Alexander Anton are required to be disclosed to
comply with Rule 9.6.13 of the Listing Rules.

Mr Anton will also Chair the Company's Remuneration and Nominations Committees.

Mr Anton succeeds Bob Gilbert who retired from the Board on 2 December after 11
years, together with Keith Ackroyd, who also retired after nine years with the
Company.

Alexander Anton is also currently Executive Chairman and founder of both
FraserCRE, a property management business, and Legacy Portfolio, a lease
investment company. He previously worked in the City with Hambros Bank.
Recently, he stepped down as Chairman of The Queen's Club, West London following
the successful acquisition of the Club by its Members earlier this year.

On 1 October, the Group announced the appointments of Mr Aram Shishmanian and Ms
Nikki Beckett to the Board as Non-Executive Directors. Further details can be
