                Main Board Appointment - Group Finance Director


The Board of Victoria PLC ('Victoria' or the 'Company') is pleased to announce
the appointment of Ian Davies as Group Finance Director with effect from Monday
19th March 2007.

Ian Davies, (Aged 41) joins Victoria following almost a 10-year career with
Umeco PLC where, since 2001 he has been the Financial and Commercial Director of
Umeco's international Components Division and a member of the Group's Executive
Committee. Prior to this, he worked for both Continental AG and Ferranti
Technologies.

Ian obtained a BSc. (Hons) in Civil Engineering from Manchester University. He
qualified as Chartered Accountant with Lathams where he gained a broader
experience of listed companies through to SME's before moving into industry in
1991.

He is also a member of The Institute of Directors and ICAEW (Faculties of
Corporate Finance, Financial Management, Technology).

Commenting on the appointment, Alan Bullock, Group Managing Director, Victoria
PLC said:

'We look forward to welcoming Ian to the team at Victoria. Ian's all-round
technical and commercial skills combined with his management experience gained
in particular with Umeco will be an additional asset to our business as we move
forward.'

Ian is married and has three children. His hobbies include skiing, mountain
biking and watching rugby.

No further details regarding Ian Davies are required to be disclosed to comply
with Rule 9.6.13 of the Listing Rules.
