Notification to the Companies Announcements Office Pursuant to Sections 198
and 324 of the Companies Act 1985
On 13 August 2002, Victrex plc (the 'company') was notified by Mr David Hummel,
the Chief Executive of the company, that he had transferred by way of a gift
425,000 Victrex plc ordinary shares on 13 August 2002 to a Family Trust in which
Mr David Hummel has a beneficial interest.
Following the transfer, Mr David Hummel therefore continues to hold 3,759,931
ordinary shares (both beneficial and non beneficial), 112,903 share options and
244,555 shares under a long term incentive plan of 1p each in Victrex plc
representing approximately 5.17 per cent of the Company's current issued share
capital.
