Management Change
Victrex plc ("the Company") today announces that Hichem M'Saad has been appointed as Managing Director of our Invibio® Biomaterial Solutions business unit ("Invibio"). Hichem will join the Company on 18 June 2012, succeeding Michael Callahan, who will remain on the Invibio board as leader of the spine business.
Prior to joining Invibio Hichem's career included 14 years at Applied Materials Inc, most recently as Corporate Vice President and General Manager of their Silicon Sector Group. Hichem holds a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and has extensive commercial and technical experience globally, in both start-up and mature businesses.
