                             INTERIM TRADING UPDATE


The Company announces its trading update for the six months ended 31 March 2003.

First half sales volume of approximately 740 tonnes was at the high end of our
expectations and compares with 557 and 648 tonnes, respectively, for the first
and second halves of last year.

In the current uncertain climate it is too early to determine whether this sales
volume will be sustained in the second half.  However, we remain confident in
the underlying prospects for the business.

The announcement of the Company's results for the six months ended 31 March 2003
will be made on Tuesday, 3 June 2003.
