                             ANNUAL TRADING UPDATE


The Company announces its trading update for the year ended 30 September 2003.


Sales volume for the year increased by 23% to approximately 1,480 tonnes (2002:
1,205 tonnes).  Second half sales volume was around 737 tonnes which was in line
with the 743 tonnes achieved in the first half.


Second half sales volumes for Asia-Pacific and Europe remained strong.  However,
the US saw some softness in demand during the summer months.


We remain confident in the growth potential for the business.


The preliminary announcement of the Company's results for the year ended 30
September 2003 will be made on Tuesday 9 December 2003.
