                    Vitec Group appoints Operations Director


The Vitec Group plc ('Vitec') has appointed Brian McCluskie as Operations
Director for its camera support divisions; Broadcast Camera Systems and
Photographic & Retail Display.

Mr McCluskie joins Vitec from APW, where he was Operations Director of Europe,
Asia and Brazil, responsible for 3,200 staff across 16 locations.  At APW, he
oversaw the subcontract manufacturing of electronics and telecoms subsystems for
IBM, Ericsson, Compaq and other major corporations.  He was previously Director
of UK Radiator Operations for Caradon plc.  He holds a BEng in Engineering and
Management.
