NOTIFICATION OF MAJOR INTERESTS IN SHARES
In conformity with the Transparency Directive The Vitec Group plc ('Vitec') is
required to announce to the market the receipt of notifications of major
interests in shares.
Vitec received notice on 14 November 2007 in accordance with the Disclosure and
Transparency Rules that Aberforth Partners LLP ('Aberforth') has a notifiable
interest in the voting rights of 2,056,069 ordinary shares of 20p each in Vitec,
being 4.89% of the issued ordinary share capital of Vitec.
In addition, Aberforth is interested in a further 358,874 shares, although they
do not have access to the voting rights if those shares.
