NOTIFICATION OF MAJOR INTERESTS IN SHARES

In conformity with the Transparency Directive The Vitec Group plc (Vitec) is required to announce to the market the receipt of notifications of major interests in shares.

Vitec received notification on 5 July 2011 in accordance with the Disclosure and Transparency Rules that Franklin Templeton Institutional, LLC's notifiable interest in ordinary shares of 20p in Vitec, is now less than 5 per cent.
